Founded in 2011 by Kevin Briggs and JJ Rok, Bangarang Films has spent over a decade collaborating with schools, businesses, camps, and artists from around the country to create video content that truly connects with their audiences.

Why "Bangarang"?
“Bangarang” is a reference to Steven Spielberg’s 1991 movie, “Hook”, where it serves as the Lost Boys’ battle cry. Bangarang has been a mantra of ours since college—it represents passion, belief, and a desire to always stay young. We try to keep the bangarang spirit alive in everything we produce.
Kevin Briggs
Producer, Business Manager
Kevin grew up in Simsbury, Connecticut, as a so-called “fac-brat” on the campus of Westminster School, where both his parents had long careers. After attending Westminster, Kevin went on to Boston College's Carroll School of Management, graduating in 2009 with degrees in Marketing and Economics. A film buff since childhood, Kevin joined JJ to form Bangarang Films in 2011.

Cinematographer, Editor
JJ hails from Barrington, Rhode Island. After attending high school at the Porstmouth Abbey School, JJ accepted a spot at Boston College, graduating in 2009 with a BA in Communications and a minor in Film Studies. JJ went on to Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts, where he received a certificate degree in Digital Filmmaking. He has been producing award-winning video content in the greater Boston area ever since.
